The February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued the Weekly Position,
which reads as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Khalifi entity in Bahrain has chosen to respond to the turbulent regional
and international situation in a way that serves its primary interest: the
continuation of autocratic rule and the entrenchment of systemic corruption.
This is by no means a new course for this tribal regime, which has always
relied on a dual strategy—eradicating the indigenous population and
aligning itself with foreign powers to secure the survival of its occupation-
based existence.
In this context, our country, Bahrain, is witnessing the activation of the most
dangerous levels of political and cultural genocide against the local society
and its indigenous components. This is being done through the use of
security and political repression tools, aided by the false masks provided by
the so-called “National Human Rights Plan,” whose second version is being
prepared and contaminated by the recent security escalation campaigns.
These include preventing workers from holding their annual march on
“Labor Day,” launching more arrests and summons to repressive agencies,
while simultaneously continuing the tools that complement the project of
comprehensive genocide. This includes exhausting popular and social
environments with waves of unemployment, impoverishment, and
systematic deprivation crises, along with continuous doses of policies that
sabotage the local identity, besiege cultural existence, and distort the
country’s history. This is evident in the ongoing prevention of the largest
Friday prayer in the country, the restructuring of the ‘’Jaafari Endowments
Administration’’ to tighten control over it, and using it to cover up the project
of eradicating the indigenous identity. All of this is accompanied by the Al-
Khalifa’s relentless effort to fulfill all their duties of obedience and
submission to the American-Zionist axis of evil.
From this perspective, we record in the weekly position the following key
points within the framework of the latest developments and ongoing events:
1- We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of
the dangerous leak incident that occurred on May 2nd at ‘’Bapco
Energies’’, and we pray to Allah Almighty for the recovery of the
injured. We affirm that this incident points directly to the root of the
organized crime entrenched by the Al Khalifa since their occupation
of Bahrain—when they plundered the nation’s wealth and divided it
as spoils of “conquest.” What we witness today in the management of
the country is merely a continuation of the spoils-sharing policy with
allied tribes. This practice took various forms under the rule of the
buried Khalifa bin Salman, and later under the Zionist-aligned
Salman, son of the tyrant Hamad. The most dangerous turn came
when a plan was set to inflate the position of Nasser, son of the
tyrant, by granting him positions and fictitious achievements across
various sectors—most recently, seizing control over Bahrain’s oil and
gas sectors through his dominance over the management of
‘’Bapco’’.
2- The adolescent Nasser treated the oil wealth as his personal spoils,
using the resources of ‘’Bapco Energies’’ to fund his personal
hobbies. He deliberately sought to undermine the national character
of the oil sector by selling some of the state’s assets in the company
to an American-Zionist corporation, turning the sector into an open
playground for all forms of corruption and quota-driven favoritism.
Therefore, it is no surprise, then, that the company began to incur
losses, safety protocols deteriorated, and the national wealth was
grossly mismanaged, resulting in environmental damage and the
spread of dangerous diseases—all in the absence of transparency
and independent investigative committees, which were always
designed to be like the one announced to investigate the “Bapco”
incident. This committee was composed of government
representatives who could not point to the root of the crime: the
corruption of the adolescent executioner, Nasser, and hold him
personally responsible for the incident, as well as the need to remove
him from this position and the other high-ranking positions he was
placed in to satisfy his whims.
3- On World Press Freedom Day (observed on May 3rd every year), the
tyrant Hamad issued a message claiming that the press in Bahrain is
a “beacon of thought and enlightenment, and an important element in
preserving the Bahraini identity.” This misleading speech is an
integral part of the project aimed at continuing the systematic tools of
genocide. The reality of the press and media in the country is well-
known; it is under the tight control of the Khalifi entity. There are no
independent newspapers or open space for free opinion. Everything
that is published or written serves to flatter the tyrant and his corrupt
sons, and is a direct execution of the orders and directives issued by
the “Royal Court,” which is directly responsible for managing
corruption and tyranny in the country, in collaboration with both the
Khalifi family council and the Supreme Defense Council. This ensures
a balance of corruption among the factions of the occupying tribe,
and a division of spoils and influence among them. A priority is given
to inflating the trio of the tyrant’s sons — “Salman, Nasser, Khaled”
— and establishing their legacy as the new trio, replacing the old one:
“Isa, Salman, Hamad.” This explains the overwhelming presence of
flattery, lies, and propaganda in local newspapers, media, and street
advertisements. It all serves to satisfy the whims of the tyrant and his
sons, while simultaneously advancing the deep objectives behind the
system of tyranny and corruption—especially the undermining of the
material and cultural existence of the indigenous Bahraini people, the
destruction of its social components, and the plundering of its
economic resources.
4- As soon as the sham parliament in the Khalifi entity was forced to
pass the state’s general budget, and was prevented from verifying its
figures or investigating the actual deficit in the budget, the Finance
Minister of Salman’s government hastened to request once again an
increase in the public debt ceiling and resorted to borrowing to cover
the deficit. This exposes the depth of the financial and administrative
corruption rampant in Salman’s government. This situation even led
one of the Gulf countries contributing to the “Gulf Marshal” initiative to
freeze its financial contribution, further undermining the credibility of
Salman’s government in front of other Gulf governments. Citizens are
now facing additional risks, as they are forced to bear the burden of a
reality dominated by a corrupt and tyrannical tribe with no interest in
saving the country’s economy from the brink of total collapse. On the
contrary, it is pleased to keep the people trapped in a continuous
cycle of living crises, forcing them to focus on these problems, thus
preventing the construction of a genuine project for progress and
liberation from the criminal tribe responsible for creating evils and
crises.
5- We affirm that the Khalifi tribe does not manage this evil project on its
own, but is instead subject to the external forces of hegemony,
especially the Americans, who are entrenched in every sector and
field of the state. They impose decisions that align with their vital
interests and control over the people. To further strengthen this
American hegemony, visits from American officials of all
specializations and fields continue to pour into the country. Among
them are those concerned with engineering local consciousness and
co-opting vital segments of society. This includes a recent visit from
the Governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy, aimed at promoting
colonial projects in Bahrain, particularly targeting the youth sector,
and planting new programs aligned with the “American identity”
based on degenerate liberalism, capitalist savagery, and serving the
agenda of colonial and Zionist expansion. This stands in stark
contrast to the values, religious principles, national beliefs, and ethics
of the people of Bahrain.
6- We affirm that the criminal Saudi entity is a key player in supporting
the Khalifi tribe and backing their criminal occupation of Bahrain. The
Al Saud has long been a steady source of support for the Khalifi tribe,
providing them with oppression, subservience, and corruption. It has
become clear that the Khalifi entity is completely subordinate to the
Saudi entity, and this subordination has been structured in recent
years through the Joint Coordinating Council, which is responsible for
shaping high-level policies and making detailed decisions on all
issues and files. This council acts as an operations room managed by
Al Saud, attended by the Al Khalifa to receive orders. The most
recent meeting of the Joint Coordinating Council took place last week
through the Joint Security Committee, coinciding with a wide wave of
repression in Bahrain. Shortly after, the bloody face of the Al Saud
regime reappeared with the execution of two brothers “Hassan and
Abdullah Gaith” from Qatif, just two days ago. These innocent lives
were lost amid the crimes of genocide in Gaza, aggression against
Lebanon and Syria, and the aggressive war on the great Yemen. It is
as if the Saudis and Khalifas are preparing for U.S. President Donald
Trump’s visit to the region, confirming their allegiance to the alliance
of criminals and genocidal wars led by the Americans and the
Zionists.
7- In conclusion, we affirm that the projects of hegemony, division, and
genocidal wars targeting the peoples and free nations of the region
will only meet resistance and opposition by all legitimate means. No
matter how much the perpetrators of genocide, the rulers of
normalization, and the forces of arrogance intensify their crimes, the
awareness of resistance and its axis in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen,
Iraq, Syria, and Iran will keep them the strongest. Their banners will
not fall, despite the genocide. The living example is provided today by
the great people of Yemen, who are recording heroic feats in
confronting American aggression. Yemen continues to offer steadfast
support to Gaza and its resistance, and is executing heroic
operations deep inside the Zionist entity, the most recent of which
targeted ‘’Ben Gurion’’ Airport. This Yemeni model is the face of the
resistance peoples and their honorable nations, and it is the open
message that carries the title of steadfastness, loyalty, and resistance
until victory is achieved, Insha’Allah.
