The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
its weekly statement, which reads as follow:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Khalifi regime in Bahrain continues its reckless policies, indifferent to
the economic crises burdening the country due to the failure and corruption
in the financial policies and economic plans followed by the government of
Salman, the son of the tyrant Hamad, which operates based on the
directives of the brutal capitalist system controlled by the American devil.
The tyrant and his corrupt sons have driven the country to the brink of
collapse and financial bankruptcy. The general budget was imposed
despite the dangerous deficit gap and the record rise in public debt, amidst
the open suffering of citizens who complain about the high cost of living,
unemployment, and the housing crisis. They also face expected pressures
due to the privatization of public sectors and the reduction of social support.
Meanwhile, Nasser, the tyrant’s son, continues to seize what remains of the
state’s assets in the oil and gas sectors, all driven by the desire to amass
more profits that line the pockets of the tyrant’s sons and cover the
exorbitant costs of their lavish entertainments and sports races, the latest
being the “Formula 1” races. They rely on a policy of iron and fire, backed
by foreign protection, to push their corruption and tyranny, while preventing
the people from rising up and halting the impending disaster. We affirm that
these are nothing but the delusions and sick dreams of tyrants, for the
people will not endure much longer, and the coming flood will mark the end
of these criminals.
In this context, we record the following headlines in the weekly statement:
1- We affirm that the policy pursued by the tyrant and his sons—looting
the country openly and without restraint, depleting its resources with
no oversight, and systematically impoverishing the people while
denying them a dignified life—alongside their excessive indulgence in
lavish festivals and sporting extravaganzas to satisfy their whims and
tribal nature, is a direct expression of the criminal nature of their
regime. It is a continuation of the invading tribe that occupied Bahrain
more than two centuries ago. What we witness today in terms of
corruption and tyranny is a further step in their ongoing war to
implement their old project aimed at erasing the presence of the
indigenous citizens, destroying their identity, looting their wealth, and
surrounding them with settlement, terror, and forced displacement.
Their goal is to secure total control over land and people, paving the
way for imposing their own presence and identity, and forcing the
people of this land into submission and acceptance of a permanent
occupation. This also explains the tribe’s disregard for all religious
and moral values, and its perpetration of the vilest violations and
taboos—including blind allegiance to the American-Zionist project.
2- This vision, which we firmly believe in, clarifies the parallel course of
the Khalifi regime’s crimes both domestically and externally. The
renewed Zionist escalation in Gaza and the region is mirrored in
Bahrain through heightened security measures, political tyranny, and
financial corruption. The Khalifi regime’s hypocrisy is evident in its
public calls for peace and dialogue, which, in practice, result in
increased repression and arrests. This was demonstrated by the
detention of the president of the Islamic Enlightenment Society and
some of its administrative members, the targeting of participants in
popular marches supporting the resistance in Gaza and Lebanon, the
summoning and threatening of activists, and the continued prohibition
on resuming central Friday prayers in Diraz. This situation aligns with
the implementation of a new phase in the plan to undermine local
identity, while paving the way for the expansion of normalization with
the Zionist enemy and opening new paths for using Bahrain’s land to
execute further colonial expansion and support the aggressive
agenda against the nation and its resistance.
3- In this context, the recent meetings with the Americans in Manama
and Washington reflect the absolute subservience of the Khalifi
regime, contrary to the lies propagated by this regime about a “close
and historical relationship” between the two sides. This regime is
nothing but a functional colony subjected to American policy,
receiving orders from the great devil and executing them without
discussion or regard for the country’s interests or the will of the
people. This reality reinforces the vision held by opposition forces that
the issue of freedom and the uprooting of the Khalifi regime is the
other face of the struggle to liberate the country from colonial
dominance, reclaim its independence and sovereignty by expelling
foreign military bases, spy dens, and companies affiliated with
American globalism.
4- We view with skepticism and disdain the welcoming stance
expressed by the Khalifi regime’s foreign ministry regarding the U.S.-
Iranian negotiations in Muscat. This stance does not reflect the true
intentions of this evil regime towards the issues of the region and its
stability. This regime is part of the bloody conflicts and conspiracies
led by the U.S. administration and Zionist arms in the region and
around the world. It has played, and continues to play, a role in
executing plans to target resistance forces, both peoples and states.
It is fully engaged in the demonization of Iran and the peoples
resisting American hegemony. It has taken on the task of issuing lists
of terrorism and pursuing activists and opponents abroad, inciting
against them under the charge of their solidarity with the resistance in
Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq. This Khalifi hypocrisy was
recently exposed by the statement of U.S. official ‘’Timothy
Lenderking’’ in Manama, where he described Iran as a “terrorist
state,” while the regime remained officially silent, all the while trying to
seek the favor of the Islamic Republic and beg it by all means to
restore diplomatic relations.
5- The Khalifi hypocrisy and the policy of image polishing and buying
loyalty both domestically and externally will not succeed in
legitimizing a regime that is rejected by the people and outcast by all
free forces and nations, who view it as a foreign-backed, illegitimate
entity, much like the Zionist entity. The attempt to run for a non-
permanent seat on the Security Council, alongside the false
statements and propaganda festivals organized by the Khalifi regime
about security, peace, and the end of wars, will not conceal its crimes
and violations of human rights in Bahrain. These paid lies will not
force the people to accept its tyrannical rule or submit to its blatant
aggression against the people and their authentic identity. Neither
money nor the exposed claims can whitewash its ugly, dark face. On
the contrary, these despicable efforts will only strengthen the people’s
conviction in the necessity of reclaiming their right to self-
determination and liberation from this regime. The departure of this
regime, along with the system that runs it, is the only way to restore
security and stability to this country, its neighboring states, and the
region.
