The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
the weekly position, which reads as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
On January 15th of this year, we mark the eighth anniversary of the tragic
execution of three of Bahrain’s finest sons: martyr Abbas Al-Sami’i, martyr
Sami Mushaima, and martyr Ali Al-Sankis. This heinous act was carried
out after the tyrant Hamad signed off on an unjust sentence based on
fabricated charges and confessions extracted under brutal torture.
In this anniversary, we recall the heroic stands of this bright group of
Bahrain’s youth martyrs. We particularly emphasize the immortal words of
martyr Sami Mushaima at ‘’Pearl Roundabout’’, where he declared his
steadfastness until martyrdom. We also highlight the video messages
recorded by martyr Abbas Al-Sami’i from his prison cell, in which he
issued his last wills to continue the popular movement and resist retreat, no
matter how intense the terrorism became. We urge our people to widely
circulate these messages on all occasions, as they represent a crucial
document reflecting the will of the people and their determination to
continue the revolution until achieving their legitimate rights.
In this weekly position, we record the following key points:
1- The crime of executing our youths in 2017 was a bloody message
from the tyrant Hamad aimed at instilling fear and breaking the spirit
of the martyrs’ families and the general public. This message was not
merely an expression of the tyrant’s and his invading tribe’s dark
history but also reflected his despair in defeating this people and
eradicating their revolutionary movement, despite all the killings and
the mercenary forces unleashed upon them over the years since the
start of their blessed revolution. It was not surprising that our people
and the martyrs’ families responded to the tyrant’s message by
raising their strong voices, gathering in the squares, renewing their
pledge to the martyrs and the revolution. Through their doubled
steadfastness, they delivered fatal blows to the tyrant’s heart. They
turned the treacherous bullets that pierced the hearts of our three
youths into wounds etched in the body of the usurped homeland,
serving as a constant reminder of the story of martyrdom and
heroism. These wounds inspire persistence and determination, day
by day, to tread the path of truth until the corrupt and despotic regime
is overthrown and just retribution is exacted against all the killers and
executioners: {So be patient with gracious patience. Indeed, they
see it [as] distant, but we see it [as] near.} Surah Al-Ma’arij (70:5-7).
2- On this occasion, our dear people have every right to immortalize the
Zainabi Stance of “the mother of martyr Sami Mushaima,” when the
tyrant sought to break her heart and the hearts of the martyrs’
families by sending them the blood-soaked clothes of the three
executed martyrs. Yet, she encapsulated the stance of all martyrs’
mothers, shouting with unwavering pride and dignity, “I saw nothing
but beauty.” This historic stance is worthy of being written on the
brow of time, remembered by generations of Bahrain as they browse
through the history of this land and the struggle of its men and
women for freedom and dignity. In this context, we call on all
concerned to honor the mother of martyr Mushaima and to elevate
her status by all means, especially as she continues to this day her
resilience and defiance in the face of the ongoing revenge and
targeting directed at her and her sons.
3- We warn the tyrant and his gang against repeating the crime of
executing our detained youths, as political prisoners and those
sentenced to death continue to suffer from systematic restrictions,
denial of medical treatment, and deprivation of basic rights within
prison. Today, more than ever, the Khalifi regime is subjugated to
foreign will and the interests of hostile regional powers. It is no secret
that this regime is entirely subordinate to the dictates of the criminal
Saudi entity, which carries out campaigns of arrests and executions
against the oppressed in the Arabian Peninsula. Amid regional
developments, particularly the preparations unfolding in Syria and the
continued aggression and criminal plans targeting beloved Yemen, it
is not unlikely that the tyrant Hamad will once again bare his
malicious fangs. He may resort to his usual methods, carrying out
dictated actions in service of the Zionist-American agenda in the
region, with Bahrain as a starting point. This necessitates vigilance
and caution by all righteous forces in our country. Everyone must
recognize the potential risks and work to counter them by
strengthening national unity and reinforcing solidarity among the
members and original components of society, under the banner of
building a real homeland that reflects the people’s will and
sovereignty.
4- As the month of the revolution in February approaches, our people’s
stance rejecting the tyrant’s constitution and all his projects of political
eradication and the genocide of the identity of the indigenous citizens
is renewed. The 14th anniversary of the revolution will be surrounded
by numerous challenges, but it will enter its new year with greater
clarity in its political project, which is centered on the people’s right to
self-determination and the drafting of a national constitution that
establishes a just democratic state. While the Khalifi regime hides
behind illusions of dominance, reliance on foreign powers, and
alliances with the Americans and Zionists, the ongoing developments
in the region reinforce faith in the will of free peoples and their ability
to alter the course of events and overturn the balance of power of
occupation and aggression in the region. This faith has been deeply
rooted in our dear people through all the rounds and stages in which
they faced security crackdowns, political and living pressures aimed
at forcing them to surrender. However, they never retreated, nor did
they return to their homes defeated or powerless. Instead, they
solidified their transformative awareness, refused to accept the status
quo, and rejected normalization with oppression and oppressors.
Their reliance has always been on holding firmly to the rope of Allah
Almighty, believing in His promise to the patient, and trusting in their
divine leadership and their sacrificed figures. These aspects, God
willing, will manifest in the upcoming commemoration of the
revolution. We call on everyone to prepare extensively for this
occasion, both inside and outside the country, under the unified
slogan that will be announced by the opposition forces.
