The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
the weekly position, which reads as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
As the new revolutionary year begins, the February 14 Revolution Youth
Coalition has announced the slogan of the year: “Faith and Determination”,
to affirm the steadfast faith in the revolution and its objectives and that the
people remain resolute with unwavering determination on the path toward
establishing a just state whose constitution is written by its true
representatives, fulfilling the aspirations and hopes for which they have
made tremendous sacrifices. We remain confident in the promising future,
with boundless hope for achieving the great dream of sovereignty,
independence, and ending the rule of tyranny and corruption.
On this occasion, we outline the following points in this weekly position:
1- The February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition’s announcement of the
“Revolutionary Personality of the Past Year 2024,” the Struggler Hajj
Muhammad Al-Raml, encapsulates the story of suffering endured in
the Khalifi regime’s prisons during the reign of the tyrant Hamad.
These dark prisons were intended to be cemeteries for the living,
instruments of crushing the people’s dignity, and a means to
extinguish the aspirations of Bahrain’s youth and figures for freedom
and justice. However, Hajj Al-Raml and his fellow political prisoners
turned the tables on their oppressors. They transformed the
challenge of imprisonment into an opportunity to showcase
unwavering faith and determination—qualities that neither bowed to
the executioner nor accepted subjugation or humiliation. Our free
prisoners and detained figures have become beacons of hope for the
people, shining crowns of dignity, and they are the fuel that grants
legendary determination and steadfastness to the values and identity
of the people in dignity and resistance.
2- Next month, Bahrain’s revolution will enter its fourteenth year,
steadfast in its demands and goals of establishing a just constitutional
system. Despite the brutal repression, occupation, killings, distortion
of its national demands, and the conspiracy and abandonment of its
people and their sacrifices, the revolution has rightfully earned
recognition as both the most moral and the most oppressed. And a
sign of that was the resilience of its people, their leaders, and figures,
driven by their firm belief in the legitimacy of their demands and their
certainty that the people will ultimately triumph over the regime of
oppression and tyranny, no matter how long the struggle lasts or how
much the suffering increases.
3- We affirm that there are sincere friends who have extended their
noble efforts in supporting the people of Bahrain, aiding in defending
them against oppression, and advocating for their rights. Our people
and their active forces do not hesitate to express gratitude to all those
who stood firmly on the side of truth and the oppressed, despite the
worldly and moral harm and losses they have endured. We also
emphasize that all forms of support and assistance to our revolution
have not changed its genuine and true direction towards its goals and
its independent approach. It is a popular revolution with pure national
goals, and it does not submit to betting or dependence. The secret of
its strength comes from within, not from outside. No matter how the
circumstances and surrounding dynamics change, it remains
steadfast and ongoing until its triumphs, by God’s will.
4- We are fully aware of the many dangers and challenges facing
Bahrain’s revolution during this complex phase. However, it is worth
noting that the revolution has endured dangerous trials and turning
points over the past 14 years, and our dear people have successfully
navigated them, overcoming the toughest tests they faced and
emerging with even greater resilience and determination, despite the
hardships and immense sacrifices. We are confident that our people,
their figures, and their sincere forces will be up to the ongoing
challenges. Likewise, the opposition forces will not hesitate to seize
this will and build upon it by exploring the best ways and options to
manage the current situation with a national spirit and an objective
mind that transcends trivialities and narrow interests.
5- We express disdain for the hypocrisy displayed by officials of the
Khalifi regime during their participation in the Palestinian Embassy’s
celebration in Manama, marking the 60th anniversary of the launch of
the Palestinian revolution, where they spoke of the revolution as “a
model of legitimate struggle and determination to restore legitimate
rights” and of enabling peoples “to exercise their just rights, including
the right to freedom, self-determination, and establishing their
independent state.” It would have been more appropriate for them to
acknowledge the revolution of our people in Bahrain, their right to
achieve their rights, self-determination, and establish a state based
on a legitimate and democratic constitution. Furthermore, this
normalizing regime should have proven its claimed position in support
of the Palestinian people’s rights by severing its ties with the Zionist
entity and refraining from participating in the Zionist-American
alliance that continues its genocide in Gaza and implements its
aggressive plans against countries in the region.
