The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
its weekly position, which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The security and military apparatus of the Khalifa regime continue to
implement the terrorist plan announced
by the regime’s Minister of Interior
in Bahrain weeks ago. This coincides with and aligns with the
unprecedented Zionist-American escalation in the genocide war against
Gaza and Lebanon, targeting prominent resistance leaders, and destroying
all the popular and vital infrastructures that support the project of resisting
the Zionist enemy and American arrogance.
The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition places
the Al Khalifa’s terrorist attack within the direct alignment with the Zionist-
American project. What is happening in the country at the hands of the
Khalifa regime is part of the implementation of the sinister American
alliance’s goals to crush the popular and cultural environments that support
the resistance, and to pave the way for the “New Middle East” project,
which is intended to be entirely Zionist. In this context, we condemn the
Khalifa regime’s targeting of the largest Friday prayer in Bahrain, the arrest
of its Imam and preacher, and the unleashing of intimidation and
persecution against religious scholars, activists, and citizens in solidarity
with the resistance and its figures. This calls on the national forces in the
country to appropriately prepare for dealing with this sensitive phase, and
to make new arrangements to face the upcoming challenges in protecting
the values and culture of our people in support of truth and justice and
opposition to the enemies’ projects aimed at destroying the nation and
dominating its capabilities and sovereignty.
Based on this, we highlight the following points in this weekly position:
1- We commend—with great pride—the determination of our people in
Bahrain to uphold their religious, national, and humanitarian role in
supporting the courageous resistance in Gaza and Lebanon, and
their unwavering commitment to protest in all areas to declare this
honorable position. This is despite the mobilization of Khalifa forces,
which surround towns and pursue protesters in residential
neighborhoods with gunfire and toxic gases. This commitment will not
waver, no matter how intense the Khalifa regime’s terrorism
becomes. We trust in the steadfastness of our people and its vital
forces, confident in their ability to thwart the regime’s partnership in
the treacherous war alongside the Zionists and Americans. We also
warn the regime and its supporters that our free people, its honorable
citizens, and heroic revolutionaries will not remain silent in the face of
continued violations of religious and national principles. If the regime
is betting on Zionist-American support, it must reconsider and
remember the epic popular and revolutionary protests and the Sacred
Defense operations that our people carried out in past years to
protect their existence, religion, and the rightful goals of their
revolution.
2- The people of Bahrain, along with the national and opposition forces,
will not retreat or abandon their steadfast position in supporting the
popular front of resistance in Gaza and Lebanon. We are constantly
monitoring the actions and plans of the Khalifa regime aimed at
undermining this honorable front, which extends across all regions of
the country. We warn that the lies and psychological warfare led by
the Minister of Terrorism, Rashed Al Khalifa—including targeting
religious observance and restricting free pulpits in mosques and
funerals—are in harmony with the Zionist-American aggression
tactics against the resistance, its people, and its states. These efforts
are designed to drain the sources of authentic religious and cultural
strength and to poison the atmosphere with notions of humiliation and
surrender to foreign domination, along with promoting degenerate
and deviant ideologies. In this regard, we highlight the role of the
UAE, whose delegations have come to Bahrain to assist in
developing programs aimed at corrupting the awareness of young
generations under the guise of combating extremism. These
programs, supported by American and Zionist institutions, are part of
the soft warfare aimed at imposing the agenda of imperialist and
Zionist forces on our people.
3- We reaffirm the central theme that reflects the true nature of the
ongoing conflict in Bahrain between the regime and the people. What
is happening is yet another revelation of the existential war and
genocide against the people of Bahrain and their authentic values.
The repeated banning of Friday prayers and the targeting of scholars
and preachers is merely an expression of this open war that has been
waged since the occupation of the country nearly two and a half
centuries ago. Based on this understanding of the long struggle, we
highlight the awareness of the invaders and colonizers regarding the
crucial role of free religious pulpits in promoting concepts of dignity,
honor, resistance, and the liberation of the land. Defending these
pulpits and ensuring their independence is an inseparable part of the
battle for freedom and liberation, one in which all the people of this
nation, from all backgrounds and affiliations, must participate to
protect their independence from malicious plans of distortion and
perversion.
4- In conclusion, we express our great pride in the heroic resistance in
Gaza and Lebanon, and we reaffirm our people’s solidarity with the
Palestinian and Lebanese people in facing the genocide war
supported by the Americans. We are confident that the blood of the
great leader, Martyr Yahya Sinwar (may he rest in peace), will not be
shed in vain. The legendary example he set in resisting the Zionist
enemy until his last breath will become an eternal school that will
inspire generations until the Zionist and American evil is eradicated.
This model continues the extraordinary example of the leader of the
nation, Martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may his noble soul be
sanctified), whose spirit and thought continue to strengthen the arms
and feet of the heroic Mujahideen on the fronts of dignity and
resistance. Alongside this stands the tremendous support provided by
Imam Khamenei (may Allah protect him), who remains a father,
protector, and patron of the resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, and
beyond, despite the threats and aggression promised by the Zionists
and Americans against the Islamic Republic. The Islamic Republic,
the fortress of the Axis of Resistance, stands as a symbol of pride
and honor, which will remain untouchable by evil forces, and all the
free people of the region and the world will continue to stand in its
defense.
