The Joe prison administration prevented the family of the prisoner of opinion Sheikh Issa al-Qafas from visiting him once again on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
Therefore, His Eminence has been denied the right to see his family and children for the second time respectively .
On Thursday, December 5, 2019, the Attorney General’s Office had charged H.E al-Sheikh with “insulting the king and inciting hatred against the regime”.
Some sources have mentioned that the new charges against His Eminence were raised against a backdrop of holding a condolence council for the martyrs Ahmad al-Mullaly and Ali al-Arab” in July 2019.
