The oppressive Al-Khalifa regime supported on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, the death sentences of the victims of torture, the prisoners of the opinion, Mohammed Ramadan and Hussein Musa.
This decision comes after several postponement of judgments, to exploit their case according to the current developments, the most recent of which is the assassination of the leaders “Soleimani and al-Muhandis”, and al-Khalifa’s fear of an expected Iranian strike on the American base that they are hosting in Al-Jufair.
It is noteworthy that the victims torture, Ramadan and Musa, were sentenced to death on 29 December 2014 on falsely accusing of the murder of a policeman in Al-Deer Town in February 2014. In 2015, the Court of Cassation upheld the rule, but it referred the case to Hamad bin Isa for ratification or pardon, and then in October 22, 2018, it referred their case to the Court of Appeal for retrial.
