The prisoner of conscience ,Mohammed Ibrahim Yahya, who sentenced to 10 years in prison on political charges , was reportedly ill-treated and severely beaten by officers at ward 12 inside Joe Central Prison and moved to solitary confinement as a means of retaliation.
The sources pointed out that Ibrahim remained in solitary confinement for about 15 days from July 27, 2019 to August 8, where all his personal belongings were confiscated , while the prison administration refuses to return them back. He is summoned every two or three days to interrogation and he was beaten deliberately on his injures in the neck and head, knowing that he had a previous accident injury before his arrest, in addition to threatening him to be held in solitary confinement again, all because of his demand to have his rights inside the prison.
