According to civil sources, the struggler detainee, Osama al-Saghir, has been on hunger strike for two days because of the harassment and ill-treatment of detainees in the central prison of Joe.
Al-Saghir has entered several times on hunger strike and visits because of the ongoing mistreatment and the deliberate harassment.
It worth mentioning that, Osama al-Saghir, was arrested on May 23, 2017, during a sit-in protest in al-Diraz town . He was seriously injured by a sound grenade and by bullets fired from close range, causing shrapnel to spread throughout his body. He was deprived of treatment for more than 20 months after his arrest, causing him a chronic headaches, and disability to move his finger.
