On Friday (14th June 2019), the residents held a single prayer at Imam al-Sadeq mosque in the town of al-Diraz, after al-Khalifa regime insisted on banning the biggest Friday prayers for the 164th consecutively.
Since morning, mercenaries and civilian militias have been mobilized at the entrances and around the town to prevent the residents from performing one of the largest rituals: Friday prayers.
This is a reflection of the fight against the religious rites launched by the entity that enriches the international forums with its tolerance of religions to cover its rush towards the normalization with the Zionist entity.
It is noteworthy that al-Khalifa entity has prevented the Chairman of the Islamic Scientific Council, Sayed. Majeed al-Meshaal, from praying in Imam al- Sadeq mosque in al-Diraz, forcing him to sign a written pledge not to give religious speeches. His Eminence was informed about this decision that targets scientists within the sectarian approach adopted by al-Khalifa regime during his interrogation at Hamad’s City police station on Friday, 7 June 2019.The entity claimed that there is a ban by the so-called “Al-Awqaf al-Ja’faryi” administration, as well as another ban issued by the Ministry of Interior.
