The director of the political bureau of February 14 coalition in Beirut, Dr. Ibrahim al-Aradi, called for participation in the National Day demonstrations to expel the US base from Bahrain, so that the country will enjoy freedom, democracy, decent life and sovereignty.
This came in a TV speech, in which he said that as the good does not meet with evil, sovereignty does not meet with the occupation, and Bahrain is now occupied by the Fifth American Fleet, so that we called for a national day to expel the American base and the American soldiers from our land and from our sea, as we have the right of sovereignty and we will not give up our rights.
He explained that the US occupation has preceded the Saudi occupation, and therefore the coalition of February 14 called for this national day to express opinion and sovereignty, and to defend the rights violated by this occupation.
Al-Aradi confirmed that the American occupation openly declares that it is an ally of al-Khalifa dictatorial regime, which brought the Bahraini citizen out of his agenda, stressing his rejection for this occupation and its masters.
