On Saturday, 9 March 2019, human rights sources have reported that the Prison Administration of Joe Central Prison has imposed a state of security alert in Building No.4 and it locked all the cells and reduced the time of contact without giving the reason.
It is worth mentioning that al-Khalifa entity had prevented the prisoners of opinion from contacting their families within its continuous policy of harassment and repression amid a concern of the families over the prisoners.
