The prisoner of conscience, Zakia al-Barbouri has sent a letter from inside the prison in the city of Issa that reflected all her steadfastness and belief in the right of her case.
She said: "With high spirit and self-confidence in the will of God and confident in his care, I received the unjust judgment issued against me and my brothers, and this judgment will not overcome my firm faith and divine promises that Allah preaches to his worshipers for the sake of his satisfactions and self-affirmation”.
Al-Barbouri stressed that she is more determined to advocate the right and to follow its supporters who are believing in Allah during the good and bad times. She is believing that she is not alone, but with sisters who are still in the position of waiting and faith.
Concerning her nationality’s revoke, she confirmed that the dropping paper does not take away ‘al-Barbouri” blood and veins and roots, the blood of the revolution, which is the legacy of this land.
At the end of her letter, she paid tribute to all the righteous martyrs, from the scholars of “Barboura”, the martyrs of the revolution and those who fought the right of jihad.
