Human right sources have reported that the prisoners of conscience in Joe prison, especially in building No.1, suffer from a shortage of food, as the quantity has decreased and is no longer enough for the individual.
The sources, citing the prisoners, said that some members of mercenaries deliberately reduce the rations to make meals and sell them with the absence of control and accountability.
It is a blatant violation of the "Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners", which obliges the prison administration to provide full food rations to each guest sufficient to maintain his or her health, strength. The meals must have good quality, good preparation and serve in normal hours; it also obliges them to provide drinking water whenever they need it.
