On Thursday, September 27, 2018, His Eminence, al-Faqih, Sheikh Essa Qassim has underwent a surgery in the eye in a hospital in the British capital.
In its statement No. 11, the monitoring team of the treatment of His Eminence said that other surgeries are expected in the coming days, based on the diagnosis of doctors who stressed the need for treatment, especially the left eye.
It noting that His Eminence had left Bahrain for London on 10 July 2018 after his health condition worsened and the doctors advised him to travel abroad for treatment
