According to human rights sources, the families of the prisoners of conscience "Najah Yousef, Hajer Mansour and Madina Ali" have expressed their deep concern after they deprived calling their families 10 days ago.
The families of the prisoners explained that they were beaten, cursed and held in solitary confinement, in addition to the continued violations and harassment by the police officers who keep on practicing abuse, humiliation, constant provocation, and even imposing various penalties on them.
The prison administration of Essa's City prison for women had assaulted the three prisoners of conscience by beating them severely because of their participation in the revival ceremony of Ashura. That has led to transfer Mansour to the hospital after the deterioration of her health because of the assault, bruises and a sharp drop in blood sugar.
