While Al-Khalifa entity is escalating its brutal campaign of arrests which included even Bahraini women ,the Coalition's women board has stressed that the prisoners of opinion should have their freedom .
In its statement issued on Thursday 12 April 2018 , the women's board has condemned the latest oppressive arrest campaign on women in many Bahraini areas by the mercenaries gangs of Al-Khalifa entity .
The women's board stressed the need to put an end to the sufferings of the prisoners of opinion and their families due to the oppressive procedures followed by the prison administration .
In its statement ,it also called upon all the active powers to increase its efforts on all levels to free these women.
It is worth mentioning that the number of the prisoners of opinion is 10 and 7 of them were sentenced with 3 to 5years imprisonment ,and the remaining 3 women are expecting to have the same judgments .All the women have been tortured and threatened to take their confessions in order to stick malicious and political charges on them . The prisoner of opinion Fawzia Masha Allah(59 years ) is the oldest detainee and she suffers from chronic diseases .All of detained women are deprived from the right of having treatment despite their health problems caused by the poor conditions in the prison and the bad food given to them
