The opposed revolutionary powers in Bahrain have expressed its total refusal to open the (HMS Juffair ) military base in Bahrain by the UK.
The powers (Coalition of 14 Feb youth revolution ,Al-waffa Islamic movement , The Islamic action movement and Haq movement ) have confirmed that this colonial project is posing an obvious threat to all the people in the region and their legitimate prospects for freedom and democracy .
In its statement issued on Sunday 8 April 2018,the opposed powers added that the opening of this British military navy- base has many consequences on the internal Bahraini level .It is worth mentioning that the opening ceremony was attended by the prince Andrew Duke of York ,the commander of the British forces joint command ,General Chris Devrell , the Commander of the British Navy Steve Dayton ,the so-called Al-Khalifa's Crown prince Salman Hamad Al-Khalifa and the so-called commander –in-chief of the defense forces Khalifa Ahmed Al-Khalifa who has been involved in acts of murder and repression since Mar 2011.That would reflects the Britons blatant support of Al-Khalifa criminal regime and reveals their malicious role in committing serious crimes and tremendous violations of human rights against the steadfast Bahraini people .
They also stressed the need to reject this military base and other foreign military- bases and to confront them ,and to consider their presence as an alien that has no any legitimacy, and this is one of the most factors to abort the people's aspirations for freedom and independence .
The powers deemed that the existence of these foreign military bases could not be lasted ,stressing that the battle of liberation and independence led by the people in their active powers will not be stopped unless fulfilling all the legal demands ,mainly the self-determination and the foundation of an independent political system where the people will be the decision –makers and the lord of the land .
