The Political Council in the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued a weekly position, which reads as follows:

The Political Council in the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition confirmed that in the past two weeks, the Imam Sadeq Mosque (PBUH) in Diraz had been targeting by new attacks, and the rituals held on Friday was restricted, which come in the context that the Council has warned about in recent statements, which the Khalifi entity is preparing for a new war of existence and identity and in parallel with the execution massacre carried out by Al Saud criminal entity, most recently on Monday, 19 June, with the execution of the oppressed youth ‘’Muslim Milad’’.
In this context, the Political Council records its weekly position as follows:
- This year’s campaign is renewed with the elimination of domestic opposition associations (the dissolution of the Waad Association on May 31, 2017 and the closure of the Al Wifaq Assembly on June 14, 2014), the unjust ruling of the dissolution of the Olamaa Council (June 16, 2014), and the anniversary of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem’s revocation of nationality of (June 21, 2016) and the escalation of targeting scheme. These crimes and violations took placed and continued under the American – British cover, and it is not surprising that the campaign this year coincides with the visit of the Khalifa’s Interior Minister to Washington and the secret visit of the Khalifa entity’s Prime Minister to London.
- The data indicates that the regime will step up the pace of repression and target the rituals, especially in Ashur’a, which will be targeted with extensive intimidation and restriction measures, this comes in line with the policy of Al Saud and trying to send them messages that the newly emerging climates in the region will not have positive repercussions at home, hoping that this will bring a false victory to the Saudi-Zionist axis. The Khalifis constantly called for being part of the ongoing regional agreements and tried to hide this impulse by renewing their oppression on the citizens and their sanctities, similar to Al Saud and the paid security provided by the Americans and Zionists.
- The result of recent repression and intimidation movements have not successfully in containing popular movement and deceiving the citizens, and the ammunition, as well as security, regional intelligence, international, and Zionist experience, have not been effective in breaking the people’s resilience wall, so the Bahraini people were neither desperate nor surrendered and adhered to the principle of strategic patience, forbidding legitimacy from the Khalifi entity, having faith and wisdom and following the leadership of the scholars represented in Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem (May Allah bless Him).
- We believe that the steadfastness and resilience of the people will achieve its goals while continuing to consolidate and clarify the political vision of the popular movement, by strengthening action to achieve the central goal of formulating a new constitution for the country, which will meet all the political rights of the people to self-determination and put an end to the corrupt and tyrannical system that has plagued the country to this day. This requires more planning in political and constitutional action, as well as cooperation and coordination among all forces and actors who believe in the right of the people of justice, freedom, and dignity.
