In the second week of March 2019, the eighth anniversary of the Saudi-UAE occupation of Bahrain, the Raids Monitoring Network documented the arrest of 20 citizens, most of them are the protesters of Medan al-Fedaa "field of redemption", the storming of dozens of towns and houses, a rising of revolutionary movement within the activities of the civil resistance and the prevention of Friday prayers twice in a row.
The detainees are: Abdullah Ibrahim al-Jarish, Ali Jaafar al-Titoun, bowling player Mohammed Khalil, Hussein Ahmed Ali, Sayed Murtada Khalil, Mohamed Sadiq Mirza, Taher Hani al-Banna, Tariq Abdel Nabi, Ayoub al-Kabaz , Ali Habib al-Shahrkani, Jalal Abdullah al-Twain, Hussain Ali Zain al-Din, Ali Hussein Saeed, Adel Mohammed Ali, Nasser, Mohammed al-Sayed Aqeel, Hani al-Shuwaikh, Hassan Abdali and Yousef Mohammed Baqer.
In al-Qatif observation, the network reported that the Omani authorities handed over the young Amjad Tareq al-Faraj from Awamiya to al-Saud terrorist regime, although he was not charged. The mercenaries of al-Saud raided on Monday (March 11th) one of the residential buildings in Safwa city too.
Regarding the revolutionary movement, it said that the Bahrainis revived this week the ominous anniversary of the occupation of Saudi – UAE of Bahrain, by various activities throughout the week including holding demonstrations , cutting off streets with tires, writing the name of dictator Hamad on the roads, confrontations and hanging revolutionary banners. The shops were closed from the evening of Wednesday, March 13 to Thursday evening, March 14, in commitment to the steps of the civil resistance.
