According to human rights sources, contact with prisoners of conscience "Hajer Mansour, Medina Ali and Najah Yousef" has been cut for more than 9 days.
The sources pointed out that the phone calls is the only way to communicate with their families after their voluntary strike to go to the visit due to the decision of putting barrier, where they did not go for their families' visit since 7 months.
It is worth mentioning that in February 2019, the courts of al-Khalifa entity have confirmed Hajar Mansour's three-year prison sentence on charges of political background. In September 2018, the courts also confirmed a three-year prison term on the prisoner Medina Ali, while Najah Yousef was arrested in April 2017 for refusing to sign confessions on politically motivated charges and she was sentenced in June 2018 to three years' imprisonment.
