On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, al-Khalifa Court of Appeal has sentenced Zeinab Mekki to one year in prison and the revocation of her nationality.
Makki has spent more than 10 months in this period, and she has to complete what is left.
Zeinab Makki's husband is also detained in the same case and sentenced to seven years' imprisonment and the revocation of his nationality.
