The criminal al-Khalifa entity using any minor pretext or minor malicious charge to revoke the nationality of the original citizens, while it seeks to increase the political naturalization with a clear objective of reconfiguring Bahrain's demography.
Human Right sources have mentioned that the number of Bahrainis who had revoked of nationality have reached about 740 citizens, according the following division:
In 2013:31 citizens, 2014: 21 citizens, 2015: 208 citizens, 2016: 90 citizens, 2017:156 citizens and in 2018:234 citizens.
In spite of calls by international and human rights organizations to abolish this punishment, as it is void in its content, because citizenship is a right of the citizen and not a merit offered by of the ruler, so that he may withdraw it when he wishes.
The most dangerous of all this is that the children whose citizenship provoked do not receive their nationalities by virtue of them. They suffer in the official institutions to extract their identity papers with the procrastination of the government departments in granting them a passport document if they succeed in obtaining it and this is for children who have their nationality inside Bahrain. Concerning those who live outside Bahrain, their suffering is bigger. The fact that a child is immature and unmarried in everything that happens to an illegal resident in a country because he deprived of his nationality is a waste of his rights guaranteed by international constitutions and norms. He faces problems in any official institution such as schools, hospitals and others without a document proving his identity; which makes the crime of al-Khalifa regime a double crime.
